Redlands trail excursions. These guided hikes take trail enthusiasts to Redlands' public trails and other places in the region.
This Spring's hikes will be the first we have offered since October of 2019. Each event features one or two guided hikes and a lunch, sponsored by Beaver Medical Group. All events are free and open to the public.
Hike the trails at Herngt 'Aki' Preserve in Live Oak Canyon. This 341-acre Preserve has nine miles of natural surface trails with a range of difficulty. For this event, Conservancy volunteers will lead two hikes, one easy and one moderate, which guests can choose. The Preserve features excellent examples of native vegetation, and excellent views of Live Oak Canyon and the San Bernardino, San Gorgonio, and San Jacinto Peaks. Staging at Oakmont Park, South Lane and Sutherland.
Hikers of all ages are welcome, and leashed pets are welcomed if handler is prepared with doggy-poop bags.
Hikers should wear good hiking shoes, a hat, and carry a water bottle. Water re-fills will be available.
