Reverend Red on Shug’s Stage https://thereverendred.com/home Reverend Red is a Mojave Desert based, International touring artist, whose brand of Southern Gothic/Folk Rock and constant evolution of sound has allowed the band to share the stage with bands of multiple genres (Merle Haggard, Iggy Pop, Reverend Horton Heat, Shawn James, and Murder By Death to name a few). Since 2009 the Mojave desert based Reverend Red has built themselves a strong foundation in the Southern Gothic/Folk Rock scene. Their recent European release, “Lakewood Dreamers”, features stories and murder ballads fine tuned by John Davis (Nick Cave, The Killers, Lana Del Rey) of Metropolis Studios in London. Reverend Red has toured relentlessly across the US and Europe (both solo and as a band) with his 'play any club, any city' attitude - the result has been them playing national music festivals, music venues, shady dive bars, restaurants, wineries, breweries, and even a few pizza joints.
