8th Annual Fundraiser and Industry Celebration Hosted by Georgia State University's Department of Risk Management & Insurance Georgia State University's Department of Risk Management & Insurance is pleased to host the 8th Annual Riskies℠ Awards on March 29, 2022.  Our annual fundraiser and industry celebration raises money for student and departmental support, and recognizes individuals who have made a significant impact in the risk management or insurance industries. This year's event recognizes Mr. Guy Millner - noted political figure, successful businessman, and co-founder of AssuranceAmerica - with the 2022 Icon Leadership Award. Mr. Millner established in 2021 the Guy Millner Scholars Program, the largest scholarship ever created for Risk Management and Insurance students at Georgia State University.
