You're invited to our bi-annual Pastor's Summit! The Biannual Pastor’s Summit and Breakfast is planned for Saturday, April 30 from 9:30-11:30 am. Breakfast will be served beginning at 9:15. During the Summit in October, you asked to meet again within 6 months rather than wait another year to have conversations and discussions together as colleagues and faith leaders. You displayed obvious concern for each other as you shared the losses and number of funerals that you presided over, as well as all that transpired over this two-year period of the pandemic. Dr. Frank Clark, MD, our keynote speaker, is a board-certified psychiatrist and member at Fourth Presbyterian Church. Caring for the Caregiver is the theme and if you will allow us to regard you as the ultimate care giver for your congregation, Dr. Clark will offer a casual time of how to provide care for yourself during chaos – like the adage, “put the oxygen mask on yourself first.” Dr. Clark is well known to Livewell. He has led our Health Ministers in conversations around mental health issues to help destigmatize mental illness. His passion is to serve and implement a holistic approach to treatment is evident to his patients. This Summit is open to all faith leaders, to offer a time of renewal as you care for others and share with colleagues. This event is free and Spanish interpretation is available.
