If this sound like a fit for you.The Tatsu-Ya Family invites you to apply today! JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the organization and transport of bulk deliveries to various locations. The driver makes sure that all product ordered is delivered when available and communicates any shortages to both production kitchen and receiving kitchen. Delivery driver takes responsibility for product during loading, delivery, and unloading. Punctuality and dependability a MUST. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Review daily packing list -Load order making sure to follow rule of first in first out; organize and rotate remaining product. -Create and print product invoice(s) -Follow route and time scheduled -Operate company vehicle(s) in accordance with traffic laws. -Notify shop MOD of any product shortages -Unload product carefully -Confirm that all products invoiced are present -Retrieve containers/buckets/bins -Complete finished goods inventory -Mop and sanitize delivery van -Refill gas tank as necessary -Simple routine vehicle maintenance EDUCATION AND TRAINING: -Valid food handlers permit (cost to obtain reimbursed by the company) -Valid driver’s license -Clean driving record -High school diploma or equivalent PHYSICAL DEMANDS: -Stand for extended periods of time -Sit for extended periods of time -Walk on uneven surfaces. -Must be able to: bend, stoop, and lift on a regular basis throughout shift including, but not limited to: -Carrying: Kitchen utensils, service plates (25# stacks) Food and produce items up to and exceeding 60# (assistance is recommended for items exceeding 50#) Cans, jars, and buckets -Lifting: Lift and carrie sacks, crates, and cases up to and exceeding 60# and may need to place these items on high shelves, carts, or tables. -Pushing/Pulling: Up to and exceeding 30-60# push/pull pressure. (Special equipment is recommended for items exceeding 50#) -Bending: Frequent bending/stooping from waist -Reaching: 4”-24” Must be able to: Pass a background and/or drug test (4-panel) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Health/Vision/Life Insurance available after 1yr Discount on food at all locations Shift meals stipend
