Here are the top three stories today in Spokane: Craig Chamberlin has decided to not fight his termination from the Spokane County Sherriff's Department. Chamberlin is running to be Spokane's new sheriff. The current sheriff, Ozzie Kenezovich, terminated Chamberlin in February and endorsed John Nowels' campaign. (KXLY Spokane)A Spokane County doctor and physician assistant have been placed on probation by the Washington Medical Commission. The commissioners are holding a hearing on whether the practitioners violated the Uniform Disciplinary Act outlining professional conduct for licensed medical practitioners. Physician assistant Joseph Sutton and Dr. Thomas Osten are pending an investigation. (KXLY Spokane)The Spokane International Airport teased the addition of a new airline with new nonstop flight destinations. The cryptic announcement will be clarified during an announcement today at the airport. This story will be updated when details have been announced.
