EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Farmers Market will open earlier this year, and it cannot come soon enough. Opening day is June 12 on the Town Green from 8 a.m. to noon. The market is also seeking growers, artisans, food vendors and community organizations to fill the market. For more information, contact the office of Mayor Joseph A. Carfora at 203-468-3204. The town, which runs the market, noted that this season there will be additional events planned for market days including free yoga, planting workshops, activities for the kids and more.
