Learn recommendations and resources to help manage your woodland for wildlife and pollinator habitat! Join us in person to learn about the importance of pollinator habitat and how your woodland management may be a key tool to helping wildlife. Three speakers will highlight programs that can provide technical and financial assistance to landowners interested in making habitat improvements. Resource materials will be provided. Featured speakers: Ryan Jackson, Private Lands Biologist - ODNR Division of Wildlife, Abby Prieur, Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist - Pheasants Forever, and Kara MacDowell, District Conservationist - USDA-NRCS This free, in-person program is limited to 45 and registration is required. For more information call 330-637-2046 ext. 3. Woodland Wednesdays programs will continue to follow current state guidelines for Covid-19 safety. Masks are highly recommended. If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask. Woodland Wednesdays Collaborators include Natural Resources Conservation Service, Geauga, Lake, Ashtabula, Portage, and Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Division of Forestry, Farm Bureau, and Holden Forests and Gardens.
