We obtain comprehensive knowledge of State Law, Defensive weapons, theory and skill and relaxed effective teaching methods. Review Section 790.06, Florida Statutes, to learn more about the law pertaining to Florida’s concealed weapon license program. The Concealed Weapon License course meets the requirements established by the State of Florida for you to apply for your Concealed Weapon License. This 4 hour course of instruction covers the 4 fundamentals of gun safety and includes the firearm proficiency (live fire) requirement as well as other information that you need to know and consider before applying for your Concealed Weapon License. What is involved in applying for the Concealed Weapon Permit in Florida? Does not include State application fees. Private 1:1 classes are available by appointment for additional fee(s). To be eligible for a Florida concealed weapon or firearm license: You must be 21 years of age or older.You must be able to demonstrate competency with a firearm.Unless you are serving overseas in the United States Armed Forces, you must currently reside in the United States and be a U.S. citizen or deemed a lawful permanent resident alien by Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.If you are serving overseas in the U.S. Armed Forces, submit a copy of your deployment documentation with your application. Those who are Resident Aliens must provide a valid Permanent Resident Alien card.
