Central Shop Bench Technician position available in San Leandro Join a first-rate team that takes pride in its work. Established in 1972, Associated Services (with its five offices) is the premier beverage, snack, and water service provider to businesses throughout the greater Bay Area. The Central Shop (located in San Leandro) is responsible for refurbishing a variety of hot and cold beverage machines (watercoolers, drip brewers, single-cup machines, and bean-to-cup machines) sent to us for repair by the various branches of the entire Associated Services system. We are expanding and are looking to fill the position of an inhouse Bench Technician. Prior experience repairing beverage machines, while desirable, is not required. We will provide complete training for the right candidate. Hours: Monday through Friday days (full-time, no nights, no weekends, no mandatory overtime). Requirements: • Must have your own basic tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, etc.). • Should have adequate skill in the use of some electrical diagnostic tools (such as a multimeter). • Must be able to lift 40+ pounds. • Must be willing to spend 2-3 months in the field using one of our Company vans before moving into the available Bench Technician position. • Must have a clean DMV record (printout required). Skills: • Disciplined self-starter. • Mechanically inclined. • Good problem-solving skills. Additional Skills that are a plus: • General knowledge of plumbing and electricity. • Previous experience working in a shop environment.
