Tramo is in search of a full-time employee in the warehouse for the company’s South San Francisco Terminal. The candidate will be responsible for receiving shipments, verification of shipments received, offloading containers, moving items in warehouse and placing them in storage area. The employee will work closely with the company’s packing & crating department and office. Tramo is a transporter and handler of high-end European furniture and accessories. The company’s other services include, but are not limited to, packing/crating, warehousing, distribution, worldwide shipping, white glove deliveries, and assembly/installations. The company caters to the design and hospitality industries. Tramo is an equal opportunity employer. Skills Required and Key Responsibilities -Teamwork; ability to work with team members as it is vital in the coordination of all incoming and outgoing shipments. -Accuracy: the candidate must be able to accurately segregate the shipments and record the exact location of items when they are placed in storage area. Keeping an accurate inventory requires accuracy and paying close attention to details on package labels. -Communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members -Punctuality; being on time and adhering to the work schedule is a must. Warehouse has a very fast pace environment and it is essential for workers to be on time to finish their tasks as planned. -Ability to lift; Due to nature of the work in warehouse, the candidates must be able to lift items up to 75 pounds and be able to perform physical tasks. *Please note that the number of hours per week varies depending on the volume of shipments. Working over time hours, on holidays and weekends are also possibilities. * Salary based on experience.
