Bassist searching for Guitarist or Keyboard Player or Band

Skilled Bassist / Vocalist / Songwriter fluent in many genres / styles with lots of experience in studios and on stage. Interested in playing with a guitarist or keyboard player to see what we might have in common, and if things work out, what we might want to do as core members of a new band. And, if this ad resonates and you happen to be a band w/o a bassist that's cool too! Music: I like Rock, syncopated Funk, and adding, say, Jazz and world influences such as Caribbean and Afro-Beat. I can play authentically in a lot of styles and have the discipline to learn what I don't know. I like structure and good songwriting and I also like improvisation, especially to segue between songs and keep things fresh. Not super keen on just playing for money, daydreaming through tunes, waiting for the song to end and getting yet another beer. Done enough of that, thanks. Goals: Initially, no pressure. It would just be great to play more with musicians after this enforced isolation. If this turns into a band I'd also like to get onstage again after this long pause and see where that leads us, typically starting with small venues just to get out there. Clubs, private events, parties, outdoor gigs, whatever we can find. In support of this I can help with recording demos, video editing and some social media.
