Handyman Position: Maintaining the grounds of an apartment complex located in Miami, Florida. This position will report directly to the maintenance manager and will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the property. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Job Function: Property maintenance “handyman” duties which will include hands on execution of every day issues that arise including painting, basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. You will perform general maintenance tasks, mechanical repairs and improvement projects for property, structures and equipment etc. In addition, you will be required to ensure all work areas and equipment are kept clean and in working order. Liaise with other parties for approved access as necessary. Hands-on repairs and improvements when applicable. Job Requirements: • Previous experience working on repairs • Painting skills is a must. • Able to work independently with good organizational skills. • Background check and drug testing required. Physical Demands The physical demands below must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and has to speak and listen. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
