WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN — A pair of township supervisors in Washington County retained their seats during Tuesday's 2022 township elections.
Incumbent West Lakeland Township Supervisor Daniel Kyllo saw off a challenge from Nathan Aamot to earn another term in the office.
Kyllo earned 436 to Aamot's 368 votes, according to unofficial election results from the Washington County Elections office.
Stillwater High Grad Wins Silver Medal At 2022 Paralympics
Kyllo, who is the West Lakeland Town Board chairman, has been on the board since 2005, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reports. Aamot served as president of Citizens Opposed to Municipal Water until January, the report states.
There was also one write-in vote in the West Lakeland township supervisor race.
John Pazlar is set for another term as May Township town board supervisor after earning 29 votes in his unopposed race for re-election, according to unofficial results.

West Lakeland and May townships were the only jurisdictions in Washington County to hold elections Tuesday. Baytown, Denmark, Grey Cloud Island and Stillwater townships hold their elections on the same day as the November general election.
