Description

BRISTOL, PA — Bristol Township is sponsoring a socially distanced family night at the movies later this month. "The Goonies," the 1980s hit comedy, will be showing at p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, at the Municipal Park Amphitheater. Admission will be $5 for families of up to five people. A member of each family group must register to reserve a space. If you have more than five family members, two adults must register for two family spaces. Bristol Township residents will have priority on registration through Friday, Sept. 11. To register, first create a Bristol Township Parks and Recreation account if you don't already have one. Then, you can register for movie night. Masks will be required to enter for everyone over 2 years old and must always be worn while outside of the reserved family spaces. A waiver and health screen also may be required to enter. Restrooms with changing stations will be available, where masks must be worn. The playground, bounce houses and concessions at the park will not be open during the movie. Guests may bring food and drinks, but no alcoholic beverages. No tickets are required. Workers will have a list of the registered names at the entrance. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and bug spray and to clean up their space after the movie.
