Older, non-cover band, rock guitarist/riff writer available. Interested in joining or starting an all original, hard rock or metal band. Though into modern music, I am not a 7-string, detune guitarist. Heavily influenced by Sabbath, Maiden, Van Halen, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Slipknot, but open to a reasonably wide range of styles. I am ok with scream vocals, but prefer clean. In a perfect scenario, Myles Kennedy. Years of experience including in LA/Hollywood. Very easy to get along with, no drug issues, and am very reliable and pro. Currently endorsed by Fender, Marshall, D'addario, Celestion, some others, but it best if I explain why I have them in person because I understand that people might think I am full of s**t. Worked with a number of major label producers, engineers and musicians. I can provide recordings of recent projects. I am also a producer and engineer, who has worked as a staff engineer in an LA studio owned by an 80s rock star. Stuff I am trying to avoid: rehearsing in garages, people just starting out, and especially cover bands. Just trying to be upfront, that is all.
