Old Town Crash Sends Cabbie To Hospital In Critical Condition

PORTLAND, OR — A cabbie is in critical condition after an early morning crash on Thursday. It happened around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Northwest Everett Street and 2nd Avenue. The second driver, a woman who was alone in her car, remained at the scene and was not seriously injured. She was taken to a hospital as a precaution. The taxi driver did not have any passengers at the time. The police bureau's Major Crash Team is leading the investigation.
