CALABASAS, CA — 40 people became U.S. citizens on March 3 at a communal neutralization ceremony at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas, the Thousand Oaks Acorn reported.
The ceremony was hosted by the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. This was the first time the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area has hosted a neutralization ceremony.
The group included adults and children 10 different countries, the Thousand Oaks Acorn reported.
