Description
Motorists driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bucks County this week should be prepared for slowdowns if they're traveling late at night.
Maintenance crews will be installing power lines that cross the turnpike at mile post 355.6. The slowdowns and stoppages are expected between the Delaware Valley interchange (Exit 42) and the Neshaminy Falls interchange (Exit 353), in Bucks County.
Drivers in both directions should expect slow-moving and stopped traffic on Thursday, Dec. 19, and Friday, Dec. 20, starting at midnight.
During the stoppages, maintenance crews and state police will restrict turnpike traffic to a speed of 20-25 mph. Drivers are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
