Come to KSU and find your passion. Job Summary Performs administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of degree auditing in relation to program and department curriculum requirements. Analyzes and interprets information regarding Board of Regents (BOR) and institutional degree policies and procedures. Responsibilities 1. Responsible for completing all phases of degree auditing, including changes and exceptions 2. Collaborates with the campus community to ensure BOR compliance 3. Manages petitioned student workflow process 4. Provides assistance to the campus community regarding interpretation and research 5. Participates in all Commencement ceremonies each semester 6. Assists with testing updates in Degree Works and the electronic student file storage system, and approves curriculum updates in Degree Works 7. Assists with maintaining study abroad applications and processes 8. Assists with the application of course substitutions to Degree Works Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field Required Experience One (1) year relevant experience Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with University System of Georgia (USG) policies Preferred Experience Two (2) years of related registrar, advisor, higher education degree auditing or counseling experience Experience in higher education degree auditing preferred Experience in University student information systems Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities ABILITIES Able to analyze and interpret institutional policies Able to facilitate and foster effective working relationships High standards of ethics, honesty, integrity and confidentiality Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines KNOWLEDGE In depth knowledge of degree program structures and USG general education (core) curriculum Proven success working with academic departments and curriculum issues Experience and proficiency in degree auditing SKILLS High aptitude to comprehend and grasp information quickly Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite, Degree Works and NOLIJ) Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette Equal Employment Opportunity Kennesaw State University is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
