THE POSITION We are looking for a full-time Logistics Manager to assist with the following: 1) Providing materials from the Treepublic warehouse for scheduled installations, which require daily pickups starting in the early morning. 2) Growing our online sales channels, particularly our Shopify site, and meeting operational needs for these platforms. Warehouse Management • Tracks material needs for scheduled installations, prepares them accordingly, and loads them into company vehicles. Works closely with Operations Manager and Field Manager to adjust planning as needed. • Enters supply information into Buildertrend project management software. • Organizes warehouse and vans so that crews can find whatever they need efficiently. • Collaborates with management team to purchase materials for a variety of solar, battery storage, and EV charger installations. Continuously researches the most competitive pricing. • Factors upcoming supply and pricing changes into long-term installation planning, keeping Operations Department informed of these changes. • Coordinates shipping/logistics including standard carrier shipments and/or LTL freight for solar panel or heavy equipment orders. Online Sales – Customer Service and E-commerce • Addresses any customer issues pertaining to orders as quickly as possible (sub-1 hr). • Fields customer product inquiries and transfers technical calls to the appropriate company specialist. • Produces invoices and completes purchase transactions with clients. • Generates positive reviews and pre-empts any 4-star or less reviews by proactively preventing order issues. • Proposes and implements new growth strategies to increase revenues, gain market share, and spread awareness of our wonderfully curated, tried-and-tested energy efficiency, solar, and battery products. Miscellaneous • Monitors company vehicle needs, ensuring that they are in good repair and up to date with registration. Assists with the occasional purchase of new vehicles. • Tracks and processes warranty claims for solar equipment. REQUIREMENTS • Inventory experience. • Electrical components experience. • Highly motivated, customer service-driven candidate with acumen for sales and logistics. • Ability to lift equipment and move throughout a warehouse environment. • Freight and standard carrier shipment experience. • Superior attention to detail. • Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines. • Comfort with Google Workspace. • Willingness to learn new software. • Solar experience preferred.
