Hey there! Our hard rock group is looking for a competent drummer who wants to write original tunes and doesn't mind hitting a cover here and there. Should have a good sense of timing, know what meters are, have good volume control, and most importantly, have a good attitude. We are friends just as much as we are a band, and we're looking for someone who can gel. Multi-instrumental is a big plus. In terms of our music, it's a little bit classic rock revival, a little bit heavy metal, and a little bit indie rock. Currently, we are still in our incubation stage, as we haven't played a gig yet. We had issues with our last drummer's attendance, so between that and covid we've had a slow start. But we are very ready to hit the ground running and want to start gigging as soon as possible. We've got about 4 originals in the works so far and are still figuring out which covers we can really make sound good. We rehearse at one of our homes in Victor at least once a week (usually Wednesday or Sunday, but that's subject to change and we'll take your schedule into account.) What we are looking for in a drummer: 1) Someone who can rock hard but also knows how to dial back; play dynamically. 2) Willing to play covers (Zeppelin, Sabbath, Band of Skulls, and Blondie are in play at the moment) 3) Non-drug-or-alcohol dependent. We do drink and smoke a tiny bit but music is the focus and we hold each other accountable. 4) Someone who wants to write rock and has original ideas to bring to the table. We try to keep the writing process as collaborative as possible. 5) Someone with experience playing gigs and being in bands or has otherwise sufficient skills 6) Someone accountable!!
