Cookie is a short-haired, medium-sized, black and white cat with buckets of personality. She is frequently glued to the window to enjoy wildlife. At 10 years old, she is slow to trust her humans, but once she does, she will follow you everywhere you go. As she gets settle in, she will play with her favorite toys and strings and happily meow for your attention. Her adopter will ideally be patient and understanding, as she can get spooked and lash out when overstimulated. Her outbursts rarely last more than a few seconds, and then she will immediately go back to asking for loving pets and drooling with contentment. Her current foster family will be happy to provide pointers for successful interactions. She has great litter box habits and would be most happy in a laid-back environment with no children. She has not been around dogs but may adjust very well to them, and would likely do well with other cats or as the only cat in the home. Fixed, vaccinated, tested and micro-chipped.
