Foster homes needed for kittens

Description

The 2022 Kitten Season has begun and the CalPoly Cat Program is looking for foster homes. It’s early we know but this year’s “Kitten Season” began in February when 3 litters and one mom were welcomed into our program. Last year over 100 kittens were saved because of our Neonatal Kitten Foster Program and our devoted and committed foster families who answered their critical needs. Our TNR team is gearing up to trap and gather up feral kittens that are found throughout our county. Most will need a foster home and this is where you can help and truly make a considerable difference to the survival and adoptability of these precious kittens. Our Neonatal Kitten Foster Program Coordinator will be happy to offer training when it comes to the babies that require bottle feeding (sometimes every 2 hours) and 24-hour care; you'll always have support and supplies so you can give the best quality care possible. This is not an easy task and does take a real commitment to provide the proper care these wee ones require. But how rewarding it is to save a life and see them prosper and grow; there’s nothing like kitten energy around the house! Please visit our website, catprogram.calpoly.edu for details on the program and how to sign-up as a foster. Thank you for your interest and support of the CPCP! We are a non-profit- our 501(c)(3) non-profit tax I.D. number is 20-4927897 for more info visit catprogram.calpoly.edu Please reply to this post for information.
