LA GRANGE, IL — A Western Springs woman was charged after striking barricades multiple times in La Grange, police say. Dara Fitzpatrick, 37, was charged about 10:30 a.m. Monday with reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, improper lane usage, driving on the sidewalk and using a phone in a construction zone. The zone was by 47th Street and Brainard Avenue. According to a police report, officers were called because of a reckless driving complaint. A driver, identified as Fitzpatrick, drove directly into barricades and circled the block a number of times striking them, police said.
