LA GRANGE PARK, IL — A home invasion took place at noon Friday in the 1400 block of Kemman Avenue in La Grange Park, with three suspects leaving the back of a house as officers arrived, police said. The officers chased the suspects and took them into custody without any problems, according to a police news release. Police did not release the suspects' names or indicate whether they were charged. Checking the area, police found two handguns in neighboring backyards. The victim in the incident was taken to a local medical facility for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries, police said. According to the release, the home invasion appeared to be an isolated incident with no threat to the public.
