Guitarist/multi-instrumentalist

Description

Ideally, I'd love to find a multi-instrumentalist who has experience with Ableton (or another DAW), live-looping/creating textures, and rocking a crowd. The electric guitar is my primary instrument. I have tons of experience in various genres, including rock, blues, alt/indie, funk, jam, soul, and more. I am currently learning keys and am looking to invest in an excellent keyboard that will give me access to a wide range of sounds to create layers and ambiance. I have played bass in several bands; however, I don't currently own a bass or bass amp. Ableton - I consider myself an early-stage power user. I've had the software for many years and know my way around quite well - I've continued to upgrade to the current version and own their Push 2 controller, which is a powerhouse for live performance. I've done a fair share of looping and can program drums. I'm hoping to work with someone who might bring something from that side (synth/DAW/programming, percussion, aux) that could be useful in a live environment. The idea of performing as a duo or trio to create multi-layered textures, incorporating improvisation and possibly some audio/video interplay, the use of lighting, looping, etc., all gets me excited. I love the idea of playing instrumental, but I'm not opposed to finding a vocalist with some looping, programing, multi-instrumental capabilities. My ultimate goal is to make a full-time living with music. It would be great to find another person (or two!) who have invested the time, energy, and focus into becoming a well-rounded musician and multi-instrumentalist.
