Description
BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — Students in Bristol Borough School District will return to class in person on Tuesday for the first time since spring.
Under the district's coronavirus reopening plan, students were divided into two groups, red and gray. Students in the red group will attend in-person classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, while students in the gray group will attend Wednesdays and Thursdays.
When students aren't going to class in person, including on Fridays, they'll continue remote learning.
Parents also were given the option of allowing their students to remain fully virtual for now.
"As always, the health, safety and welfare of our students came first in our planning andpreparation process," Rose Minniti, the superintendent of Bristol Borough Schools said in a letter to parents.
Starting Tuesday, students in kindergarten, second, fourth, sixth, eighth, tenth and twelfth grades will return to class as scheduled. Next Monday, Oct. 19., all grades will report.
