LA GRANGE, IL — The La Grange Police Department released its latest blotter. Here is information from the police reports:
Two 14-year-olds from La Grange were arrested about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 27 on charges of criminal damage to property. They were involved in a number of incidents Nov. 25 and Nov. 26, according to police. A camera was reported stolen Thursday at Lyons Township High School. It was valued at $8,000. Paint was poured all over the laundries of apartment complexes overnight Nov. 26 in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue and the 200 block of East Plainfield Avenue. While responding to the calls, an officer was flagged down and informed of damage to the driver's side mirror of a car in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue. In the last week, La Grange police took 11 reports in which suspects used residents' identities to fraudulently file unemployment claims. No financial losses were reported.
