Grooming Assistant / Dog Bather

We are hiring! The team at Wagging Tails has an immediate opening for a full-time Grooming Assistant / Bather. This position is responsible for preparing dogs for grooming. Duties include: • Using a ramp or lifting dogs into bathing tub • Bathing dogs with premium shampoos/conditioners • Fully drying dogs • Brushing dogs • Cleaning up work space at the end of the shift Successful candidates for this role possess: • Love of animals • Comfort and familiarity with all (large & small) dog breeds • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Courteous & professional demeanor (tattoos & piercings OK) • Team player! • Prior dog handling experience is NOT REQUIRED, we will train the right person • Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours, able to lift 50 lbs Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm or until finished (sometimes finish earlier) Benefits of working for Wagging Tails: • Weekly Pay • Employer-paid uniforms • Tips! • Small, family atmosphere & dedicated, close-knit team At Wagging Tails, our goal is to provide loving, experienced care to our customers, both two- and four-legged.
