DougDeals (parent company CDN Systems) has been in business for over 20 years and has about 30 employees. Businesses in the Austin area sell stuff they don’t want to CDN, and CDN resells it on the internet, mostly via eBay. We’ll buy anything we think we can flip. Former and current clients include famous restaurants, search engine providers, computer manufacturers, grocery stores, people sending rockets to space, etc. Former and current customers include all of the previous and small and large businesses, universities, military, inventors, and everyday folk. Interesting stuff we’ve sold: Mechanical bulls Robots Banana washing machines Holograms Now, we’re just normal people. We’re smart, savvy, and have been at this a while, but no one here went to Mechanical Bull or Robot School. When we get something in (sometimes stuff that we’ve never seen before), we have to figure out what it is, if it works, what it’s worth, and how to sell it and ship it. It’s kind of like Internet Pawn Stars for Business. Where you come in: You'll be moving materials by hand, pallet jack, and forklift. Entering product data and counts into computer software, posting for sale listings on Craigslist, and moving and updating inventory locations for products. Requirements/knowledge/experience: • Dependable and Personable. • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis and standing 8 hours a day. • Able to work in ambient temperatures (No A/C, no heat). • Must be over 18 and pass background check, drug test and have steel toe shoes. • Forklift experience a plus, but not necessary. We can train you. Hours and Benefits: • Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. • Paid vacation, sick time, major holidays (after initial probationary period). • Health, vision and dental insurance program (after initial probationary period).
