I have a flock of 10 hens, that are all under one year of age but laying eggs for us like crazy! They are eating H&H Organic Layer Pellets, and love to free range. We get about two dozen eggs every 3-4 days.
HOWEVER, I believe these hens have unfortunately been exposed to myco. A couple of them showed telling signs (bubbles in the eyes) but all are doing well and most have not showed any symptoms at all. All of them are laying well and the virus is not a risk to humans! However, it is best if these hens are kept isolated from other poultry - don’t integrate them with an existing flock or bring in more hens later.
We can sell the hens and the coops and pens together or separately.
