Looking for a drummer to round out a Blues & Roots Rock trio. We play Texas and Chicago Blues, Jump Blues, Swing, Western Swing, Hillbilly Boogie, Rockabilly, and a little Jazz, and sometimes we rock out if it's a young (and drunk) audience. Bassist plays electric and upright. High energy and relentless, songs often morph into medleys on the bandstand. Rehearse once a week, more if schedules permit. Some songs have tight arrangements, some are honky-tonk/juke-joint style. Drummers with Jazz and/or R&B backgrounds encouraged to answer. Need someone who plays from the wrist not the elbows and knows that the hi-hat is for the backbeat.
