Concrete Technology is seeking a hardworking and safety-minded team player to join our Team as a General Laborer with Electrical Experience at our Port of Tacoma manufacturing plant. This is a full-time (40/hrs. + overtime), year-round, union position, working for the nation’s pioneer in the manufacturing of pre-stressed concrete. BASIC DUTIES: Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment. QUALIFICATIONS: *** Past Electrical Work Required. *** Demonstrated ability to perform a wide variety of maintenance (mechanical and electrical) and operational tasks. Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment and electrical components. Ability to use ladders, scaffolding, and/or a scissor lift while performing job duties. Ability to work with power tools, small motorized equipment, and vehicles. Must be able to read and interpret Fluke testing equipment. Able and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, sometimes for extended periods of time. Must be able to work at heights with proper fall protection. Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on an on-call basis as needed. Job requires employee to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move heavy objects utilizing proper tools and leverage methods in excess of 75 lbs.
