Employment is contingent upon successful background and drug screening. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 per hour RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Keeping your supervisor informed on all policy deviations, substandard and out-of-line conditions and reporting all accidents promptly. 2. Maintaining a good working relations and communications with fellow employees. 3. Fully observing the organizational “chain of command.” 4. Perform assigned tasks in the areas of repair, upkeep and preservation of all marina systems, components and facilities. 5. Must be capable of swimming. 6. Cooperates with fellow employees to maintain and promote the marina image. DUTIES: 1. Clean and maintain Marina facilities. Duties to entail disinfecting, sanitizing and general cleaning of all restroom and shower fixtures, floors and walls. Exhibiting proper knowledge of potential interaction of cleaning agents and chemicals. Perform any needed repairs. 2. Stock and re-supply restroom facilities with the appropriate paper supplies, and removing waste materials. 3. Clean and tidy all laundry areas, re-supply any necessary materials, clean lint traps and remove any lint accumulation. Check all appliances for cleanliness and serviceability. Perform any needed repairs. 4. Collect and dispose of all refuse and trash. Collect trash from dock receptacles; shore side containers and pickup all litter. Dispose of all trash and litter in the proper trash containers. 5. Perform general maintenance as directed. General maintenance will consist of cleaning walkways, docks, fingers, ramps, dock boxes, parking lots, building exteriors and interiors. 6. Maintain electrical components such as lighting and electrical receptacles. 7. Perform preventative maintenance of marina systems, all mechanical systems and plumbing services. 8. Refurbish and paint facilities and equipment as required. 9. Service and distribute dock carts, making sure adequate numbers of carts remain serviceable. 10. Participate in ongoing in-service safety training. 11. Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor and other management as required.
