Description

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities • Loads and unloads materials and goods from incoming and outgoing trucks. Moves, stores, and spaces materials as directed. • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. • Prepares and packs orders for shipment. Determines the method of shipment per shipment instructions, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates, and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons. • Verifies product markings and packaging is correct. • Prepares bills of lading or receiving records for outbound and inbound shipments.
