This is a great position for someone who is looking to get their foot in the motorcycle industry! This position has many responsibilities, please read. Summary Description Open and closes shop daily Maintains shop cleanliness and organization Assist customers and staff as needed Performs quality control on outgoing motorcycles by walk around inspection and motorcycle test rides Drives to and from specific locations to pick up and drop off motorcycles, parts, accessories and other specified items by Service Manager and Upper Management Moves and cleans motorcycles, keeps the motorcycles in sound working condition, and helps the Service Manager as requested Duties and Responsibilities Clean Driving Record and adherence to all driving laws Transferring units in and out of the Service Department. Washing/Detailing all units. Maintaining the entire building and lot. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have valid drivers and motorcycle license. Proficient in meeting deadlines on a timely manner. Clean driving record. Maintain a positive attitude and relationship with all other employees. Capable of pushing and loading motorcycles. Physical Demands May be required to drive long distances. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Requires the use of both hands. Frequently required to bend, stop, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift 50lbs of material. Requires the ability to balance and push a 600+lb motorcycle. Working Conditions Frequently works near moving mechanical parts. Potential exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department. Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday. Some nights and Mondays may be required.
