Don’t know if the original poster is someone I used to know, but if you’re her, I just want to validate your feelings that— at the time—our bond was the fiercest love I had ever known. It surpassed love on such a different level, beyond friendship, beyond family, beyond romance. It was a soul quenching kind of love. And I know that I hurt you when I left via ghosting, but you have this way of roping me in time and time again. At our core, we didn’t change. It was like we hit a wall where there was no more growth for either of us. We fought, we brush it off. We loved. Repeat. It’s cyclic without any personal growth, just two stubborn souls refusing to let the other go. I had to ghost, you see… I was a coward abruptly ending us without giving you the proper closure you deserved. I honestly felt that there were no more productive words we could have exchanged. Perhaps you felt differently? Nonetheless, I do wish you well. I hope you’re happy on your current journey; it was a blessing that our paths crossed for the time and duration it did. Thank you for those warm memories.
