With LEAP Family Home Agency, a non profit serving Marin, SF and San Mateo counties you can make a difference by joining our team. We look a little like foster care except we match adults with developmental disabilities with households of all constellations. In exchange for a spare bedroom, meals and assistance, LEAP trains, supports and compensates home providers generously. Monthly compensation averages $3000 a month per individual placed. The family home model allows for up to 2 individuals to be matched (with their own private rooms). We never force a match, we do ask for 30 days notice to end a match. Home providers do not collect rent from individuals, rather the agency, LEAP, compensates the home providers keeping financial ties and rent off the table. The monthly compensation is TAX FREE, just like the foster care system. LEAP Is looking for caring, compassionate, and kind home providers. Great matches are not just to the benefit of our individuals referred. Home providers often enjoy a new friend, family member, and are helping the housing crisis.
