We offer a training environment, set up for motivated individuals, with on the job training in a Rock Crusher environment. As skills progress pay increases with opportunities to reach five different pay levels. Mechanical maintenance and fabrication experience preferred but not required. QUALIFICATIONS • Problem-solving skills • Work as a productive team member • Must be 18 years or older • Must meet the minimum requirements for employment. • Pass a pre-employment drug screening DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform routine maintenance, such as lubricating oiling and cleaning all areas of the plant. • Tasks to include: Cleanup of rock spills using hoses and other equipment. Learning preventative Maintenance skills and using hand and power tools to repair minor defects • Learn to operate welding equipment to weld and cut with a torch on some repairs. • Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. • Good communication skills, able to take direction well, think ahead and work efficiently. • Must be able to follow direction, working both independently and in a team environment. • Climb and descend ladders occasionally • Adhere to all company policies and procedures. • Conduct self that represents the company in a safe and professional manner. • Working flexible hours may be required. • Other duties as assigned WORKING CONDITIONS • Subject to outside weather conditions • Lifting up to 50lbs. without assistance • Pushing / Pulling up to 50+lbs. without assistance • Must be able to lift up to #50lbs without assistance bend, and stoop, squat, kneel, reach, grip, etc. Dusty and Dirty conditions All Personal Protection Equipment provided except boots • Loud working conditions, all hearing protection will be provided and you will be enrolled in hearing conservation program by monitoring work environment noise levels and hearing tests • Flexible work hours including weekends and night shift may be required depending on workload COMPENSATION / BENEFITS • This is a full time, Day Shift, 40+hours a week position with career technical training • Delta offers a very competitive compensation and benefit package including: Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance.
