Position Overview: Provides routine and special cleaning services throughout the OSF facilities; Performs special jobs of the errand type, helps on maintenance projects, and performs other duties as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor and/or Physical Plant Manager. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**): Assists with soda machine stocking. Washes windows, shampoos carpets, waxes floors. Cleans theatres, offices, restrooms, shops and grounds. Provides pick-up and delivery service of packages, brochures, mail, UPS, and other miscellaneous items within the facility and surrounding area. Sets facilities for meetings and other events as needed. Moves equipment, racks, costumes, furniture and other items. Dumps trash cans, dumpsters and other receptacles. Completes work as assigned on work requests. Trains Custodial Staff when assigned. Other Job Duties: Performs other duties as assigned by the Assists on miscellaneous maintenance/custodial projects. Clears gutters, roof and storm drains. Maintains grounds for safety in inclement weather, i.e. shovels snow, ice melt, etc. Cleans apartment carpets as needed Relationships: Reports To: Custodial Supervisor and/or Assistant Custodial Supervisor, and Custodian IV Supervises: Custodians I and II when assigned ** To comply with regulations by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the principal duties in job descriptions must be essential to the job. Requirements Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with clients, customers, co-workers and management Qualifications & Skills: Work Experience: Prior custodial experience, knowledge of all routines and machines. Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids: Vacuums, shampooers, buffers. Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently; ability to climb ladders and stairs frequently and to perform routine cleaning functions, including bending, kneeling and scrubbing. Other Ability: Ability to work with minimum supervision; the ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with clients, customers, co-workers and management; must have valid Oregon driver’s license and good driving record. OSF requires that all employees working on-site and for whom the COVID-19 vaccine is authorized to be vaccinated against COVID-19. OSF will require proof of an approved COVID-19 vaccination before starting work on site. OSF will consider reasonable accommodations for individuals with a valid medical or religious exemption from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Education/Work Experience: GED or equivalent. Personal Protection Equipment/Training: Valid Oregon driver's license.
