FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — Incumbent Democratic state Rep. John Galloway looked poised to retain his seat Wednesday morning against Republican challenger Jeanine McGee. With all 37 of the Levittown-area district's precincts reporting, Galloway led McGee, 17,248 to to 12,301 in unofficial returns Wednesday morning. There were tens of thousands of mail-in ballots yet to be counted in Bucks County. But with those ballots breaking heavily toward registered Democrats, it's likely additional ballots in the District 140 race would help Galloway further. The district covers Bristol Borough, Falls and Tullytown, as well as parts of Bristol Township, Middletown and Morrisville. Galloway, of Falls, has represented the area since 2007. A former members of the Pennsbury School District board, campaigned on issues like shoring up Pennsylvania's mental health and addiction resources. McGee, 43, of Bristol, focused on an anti-abortion platform in her bid to unseat Galloway.
