Are you looking for a reptile terrarium and don’t want to get one of those boring looking ones from the pet store, but instead are looking for something that will complement your home and look downright fantastic? Well, you’ve come to the right place. I design and make naturalistic, wood terrariums, and as a reptile owner, I ensure that these enclosures are made with the safety of your reptile in mind. These terrariums come in seven basic sizes and are customizable to fit your individual needs, the needs of your pet, and personal preference. Customization: Tall terrarium sizes: Large: 36”x18”x36” (LxWxH) Medium: 24”x18”x36” Small: 18”x12”x24” Short Terrarium sizes: X-Large: 48”x18”x18” Large: 36”x18”x18” Medium: 24”x18”x18” Small: 18”x12”x12” Note: Keep in mind that the exterior log design will add almost an inch to each of the two sides of the terrarium. Stain Color: Also, choose your stain color. Available stain colors are Colonial Maple, Gunstock, Cherry, and Natural. You can visualize the color options on the Home Depot website under Varthane Interior Wood Stain. (Note: I do not use any of this stuff on the inside! I only use reptile-safe water proofer on the inside.) After staining, I will finish off the outside of your enclosure with a clear, satin finish. Door position: For the X-Large and Large sized short terrariums, you can choose to have a top-open or front-open terrarium. Short Mediums and Short Smalls will be top-open terrariums. All tall terrariums will be front-open terrariums. For tall terrariums, the Large and Medium size will have two doors and the Small size will have one door. Custom dimensions: If the standard enclosure sizes do not suit your needs, I can build one with custom dimensions. Since this is Craigslist, and there is nothing keeping you from backing out on me at last minute, there will be a $30 extra charge for custom dimensions. However, the fee may not apply if your dimensions are not too far off base, so send me your dimensions and I will let you know if this extra charge applies. Pricing: Tall Terrariums: Large: $450.00 Medium: $400.00 Small: $375.00 Short Terrariums: X-Large: $450.00 Large: $425.00 Medium: $400.00 Small: $375.00 Know that you are getting an enclosure that is beautiful compared those boring ones from the pet store. I spend time to make sure each of these are made to detail. The front is hand carved, and the maple logs are personally selected from my wooded property. I will not consider low offers. These are handmade quality, custom terrariums, and they are priced as such. Other details: The inside is made watertight with reptile safe wood sealers. The top will be covered with metal screen mesh for ventilation. Interior décor shown in some of the pictures is not included. All logs are maple wood (for a smooth bark) which I personally hand select for each enclosure. Because of the log and branch design, no two terrariums will look exactly alike. Delivery/Pickup: This is optional, and I only deliver within a certain distance from Le Sueur, MN where I make the terrariums in my home shop. A delivery fee will apply and will vary based on the distance. Otherwise, we will meet in a local, public place.
