Del Toro Landscaping Inc. is currently hiring a Landscape Construction Assistant Superintendent. This position assists the Superintendents in construction of erosion control and landscape installations for commercial projects with the majority of work focusing on transportation infrastructure projects, i.e. highways and airports. This position assists the Superintendent and operations department with coordinating all material, labor and equipment needs for each project. Great opportunity for advancement within the company. Major Duties and Responsibilities • Assist the Superintendents with the implementation of landscape and erosion control installations to meet the project schedule requirements • Scout upcoming projects for site readiness and pre-measure areas for material needs • Assist Superintendents with daily project material needs and crew truck pre loading • Assist Superintendents with onsite supervision of crews • Assist Superintendents with accurate measurement of all items installed • Work with operations management team and support personnel to assist in the planning and coordination of all projects Job Qualifications • Experience in construction. Landscape construction experience is a plus • Valid driver license without restrictions • Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Call Elsa to discuss an set up interview 847-426-7200
