The " homeless"

Description

It's not a matter of helping the homeless so much as not hating the homeless. Not bothering the homeless. I've been homeless for half my life. I've also worked sixty hour weeks, farming to feed the world while being homeless. having no place to shower and walking the streets at night just looking for a place to sleep. Many times I hit the streets just so I could avoid fighting with roommates. Other times it was to enjoy the beauty of the California forests, mountains and ocean, to sleep under the stars and listen to the sounds of the night creatures. To feel better about my consumption of earths resources, to have a small "footprint". Usually I was stuck sleeping in the backseat of some car being woke every night around midnight by the police who would tell me to find somewhere else to park. Work hard for your money, do work you feel good about. Don't support laws that target the homeless. As earth heats up we need to consider changing land use laws. Changing building codes on private property and the ridiculous cost of permits. Minimum suare footage requirements are completely insane. We all need access to the land for using it in a responsible non destructive way. Unfair and unjust laws and the harassment of people who are just trying to survive causes mental illness and an unhealthy society.
