Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm OR 10:00pm - 7:00am PTO: 80 hours OT: upon supervisor approval Location: Elizabethtown, Pa. The Material Handler I position is an integral part of our daily operations at AmpliSource, and it is vital that this individual possess certain qualifications and skills. This position requires the operation of skid steers to unload and load inbound trailers and feed processing equipment. Unloading and preprocessing inbound material and performing inbound inspections. This includes depackaging, organizing, and processing. Assist in other duties as needed such as: manually depackaging food by-product materials, managing commodities such as cardboard and other recyclables, and cleaning warehouse equipment. This position has room for growth. Adaptability with daily inbound material and job task changes. Occasional overtime required. JOB REQUIREMENTS Lifting at least 50lbs on a consistent basis. Farm, construction, factory, or equivalent experience. Previous experience operating personal industrial vehicles, such as skid steer, forklift, etc. Mechanical aptitude, ability to perform minor preventative maintenance and fix simple mechanical issues on production equipment. Promotes clean/tidy practices throughout the workday. Contributes to team effort by aiding in completing necessary tasks. CDL A experience preferred but not required. Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
