NOT IRONIC. Established, experienced artist/vocalist and Alanis nerd looking to mess around with Alanis Morissette songs more on the heavy, rock side and not necessarily all her top hits to please the masses (save You Oughta..) Think Supposed Former vibes and more dark tracks/versions from Jagged and her other albums. (If that doesn't make sense move on my friend lol.) Looking to indulge my and others' nostalgia, mess around with my ideas for these covers, and to play shows, outdoor fests, and have fun with it! If Alanis ends up feeling like not enough material, I'm very into the idea of expanding the idea into an "angry girl music" cover band "Angry girl music" was the unfair, sexist label projected onto a series of fem artists in the 90s. Let's turn that shit on it's head and reclaim our nostalgia and rock out to Garbage, Fiona Apple etc. Need guitarist, base, drums, maybe keys/electronic.
