2 Penguins Banquet Team We don’t work in tuxedoes! Our roots are in catering. 2 Penguins is the child of Panache Catering which dates back to the 1980’s. We morphed from a high-end catering company to building and operating event centers, and then got good and tired of it and changed our business model. We opened 2 Penguins 7 years ago as a great taproom restaurant with large event space. At 2 Penguins we do casual well managed events for folks who are looking for quality food and service and are not looking to piss and moan at us about things we cannot control. We are totally professional about what we do, we just don’t promise a bunch of stuff that we can’t control. We are professional, but we are laid back and casual. If this is you, come work with us! Our event space is furnished with up-cycled tables and chairs, some games for guests, and has a fun, funky, casual feel. Our smaller room holds events in the 75 people range and the larger Beer Hall and patio works for events in the 200 range. Don’t let “laid-back and casual” fool you, we have amazing food and impeccable service, but it’s very rare that you see tables with white linen and chair covers at our events. Between now and October of 2022 we have over 70 events booked and are still booking steadily. Our events range from corporate events to rehearsal dinners and weddings; as well as birthday parties and going away parties. If there is a reason to celebrate we do it. We’re very competitive with pay, on the low end you’ll make $15 per hour and the more responsibility you have the more money you make. Our Captains make over $20 per hour. No more tuxedoes for us.
