Westside Grounds is locally owned and operated grounds maintenance company since 1999. We're looking to hire someone familiar with the industry, understanding the ins and outs of daily operations of lawn and landscape maintenance. This well-rounded individual would be working with our service department to accomplish the daily tasks efficiently and effectively. If you have worked in the industry for a while and looking to grow, been in this position, or owned you own small business this might be the right position for you! The ideal candidate is a proactive leader and self-starter who can interact with the public and our employees. They have a strong work ethic and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. They have experience in landscaping and at least two years of supervisory experience, as well as proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. **Growth Opportunities Available** - Interested in candidates that would eventually advance into an Operations Manager role. Assist our Operations Manager in these Specific Areas: -Coach, train, and mentor production staff to ensure they are consistently delivering high quality service -Fill in when production staff is sick or behind on Mow, Enhancement and our Chemical Crews. -Maintain a clean and well-stocked shop/fleet -Proactive with customer relations, including mitigating damages and liability issues -Improve upon current processes to ensure quality, profitability, and future growth -Capable of taking over full responsibilities when the Operations Manager or Crew Leader is out of office. Job Requirements: -Background in landscape maintenance industry -Able To Lift 50+ Lbs without issue -At least 2 years supervisory experience -Valid Driver's License -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Computer literate, with working knowledge of work processing, business software.
