You do realize that things got better in 2016 and until 2020 no one was scared of anything killing us off and we had a great economy from 2016 to right up until 2020. If you don't think gas prices have gone up, you don't drive or even have family long distance that drive! I have missed visiting my sister since in November 2020 we ended a huge argument and talk again but I have seen her only once since then because of gas prices!! Until you are personally affected, you won't understand! Also my party is independent/unaffiliated and I am pan and nb so before you go after me I'm literally not what you probably think!
